Chopin and the guitar

Chopin never said the sentence commonly given to him, about two guitars being better than one. Yet, he was well acquainted with the guitar, mainly due to his time in Paris, where he had chances to listen to several stars of the instrument. And no wonder he may have liked it. I believe that the idea of picking up a recital program around his figure is a very good one. And I do appreciate Lukasz Kuropaczewski purpose of suggesting a sort of inner affinity between the immortal “24 Preludes” for piano by the Great Polish and the beatiful “24 Preludes” for Guitar by Manuel M.Ponce.
